Football Game Preview: Dell Rapids Quarriers vs. Milbank Bulldogs

Dell Rapids is 8-1 against Milbank since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Quarriers will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Dell Rapids is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Lennox, who was ranked fifth at the time (Dell Rapids was ranked 11th). The Quarriers lost 34-14 to the Orioles on Thursday. The game marked the Quarriers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Milbank's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 20-6 bruising from Madison.

Milbank's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Dell Rapids, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Dell Rapids against Milbank when the teams last played back in September, as the squad secured a 36-7 win. Will the Quarriers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
