Baseball Recap: Bridge City Falls Short of Wimberley in the Playoffs

Bridge City and Wimberley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bridge City had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Texans by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Texans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Bridge City and nudges their season record down to 28-8-1. As for Wimberley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-8-1.

As of now, neither Bridge City nor the Texans have any future games scheduled.
