Soccer Game Preview: Summer Creek vs. Channelview

Summer Creek is 0-3 against Channelview since February of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Summer Creek Bulldogs will host the Channelview Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Summer Creek took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Saturday. They never let Splendora onto the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Meanwhile, Channelview hasn't lost a match since December 17, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Bellaire. The score was close at the half, but the Falcons pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Channelview's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-3. As for Summer Creek, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Summer Creek came up short against Channelview in their previous meeting back in February of 2018, falling 2-0. Can Summer Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
