Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Washington

The Mountain View Toros are taking a road trip to take on the Washington Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Mountain View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Mesa, who was ranked fifth at the time (Mountain View was ranked 25th). Mountain View lost 3-0 to Mesa on Friday. The Toros have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Washington, on the other hand, haven't lost since December 6, 2024 and they too continued that trend. They skirted past Copper Canyon 1-0. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Aztecs: they've now won three in a row.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 19-1-1.
