Soccer Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Takes a Loss

Whitehall-Yearling lost against Bishop Hartley back in October of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Hawks, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Whitehall-Yearling can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 440th, while Bishop Hartley are ranked 198th).

This is the second loss in a row for Whitehall-Yearling and nudges their season record down to 5-11-1. As for Bishop Hartley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-10-4 record.

Whitehall-Yearling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Hartley, they will take on Bexley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Hartley's defense better be ready for this one: Bexley have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season.
