Softball Recap: Petersburg Comes Up Short

Petersburg fell victim to Highland Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Springers. The Crimson Wave just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row dating back to last season.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland Springs, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Petersburg will face off against John Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland Springs, they will head out on the road to square off against L.C. Bird at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
