Berwick dropped their record down to 5-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against  the Lake-Lehman Knights, falling  8-2. The Bulldogs were red-hot at the plate heading into the  matchup (they scored no less than ten  runs in the three  contests prior), but the Knights' pitcher proved too tough.
 Berwick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Makayla Brown, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Lake-Lehman, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the  win, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs.
 On Lake-Lehman's side,  Kirsten Finarelli was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Finarelli has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  home run the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaitlyn Brudnicki, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double.
 Berwick wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  an  11-6  victory against Hanover Area on the 23rd. As for Lake-Lehman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  9-1  win against Holy Redeemer on the 23rd.
