Volleyball Recap: New Heights Christian Academy Takes a Loss

New Heights Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Monett on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Cubs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Heights Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13.

Lydia Hipple paced New Heights Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Hipple got some help from Caitlin Meppelink and her eight assists.

New Heights Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-2. As for Monett, the victory got them back to even at 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, New Heights Christian Academy will square off against Lockwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monett has already played their next match (against Crane), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
