Centerville is a perfect 8-0 against Wayne since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Elks are taking a road trip to face off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Centerville and five for Wayne.

On Thursday, Centerville came up short against Fairmont and fell 3-1.

While Centerville had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Wayne lost 3-0 to Beavercreek on Thursday.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Centerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Centerville took their win against Wayne in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Elks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
