Baseball Recap: Lake Travis Takes a Loss

Lake Travis was the 4-2 winner over Dripping Springs when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Lake Travis' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-7-3. As for Dripping Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Lake Travis will be playing in front of their home fans against Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chaparrals will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dripping Springs, they will venture away from home to square off against Del Valle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
