Baseball Recap: Gaston Comes Up Short

Gaston lost against Clatskanie on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greyhounds took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gaston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Sheets, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Gaston's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Clatskanie, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

While Gaston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
