Volleyball Game Preview: Kaneland Knights vs. Stevenson Patriots

The Kaneland Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Stevenson Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Kaneland came up short against Sycamore and fell 2-0.

Kaneland was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Stevenson entered their tilt with Zion-Benton on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Zee-Bees.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Stevenson was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13.

Kaneland better keep an eye on Lexi Randle El. She was instrumental in Stevenson's win, getting 12 digs.

Kaneland's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Stevenson, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.
