Softball Game Preview: Spencerville Bearcats vs. Paulding Panthers

The Spencerville Bearcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Paulding Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Spencerville has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Allen East hit Spencerville with a four-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bearcats lost 14-3 to the Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Paulding dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Spencerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
