Football Game Preview: Forreston Cardinals vs. Lena-Winslow Panthers + Official Tickets

Forreston is 2-8 against Lena-Winslow since November of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Cardinals will face off against the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. Forreston has given up an average of 30.6 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Forreston was beaten by Stockton 44-6. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lena-Winslow had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against the Rivermen as they made off with a 40-20 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.

Forreston's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lena-Winslow, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Forreston was taken down by Lena-Winslow 50-12 in their previous matchup back in August. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Cardinals were down 38-0.
