Volleyball Recap: Montello Triumphs

Montello had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the New Lisbon Rockets by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Rockets, so the Hilltoppers were just returning the favor.

Brooklyn O'Malley paced Montello's offense, picking up 11 kills. O'Malley got some help from Charlee O'Malley and her ten assists. Theoree Larson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Montello has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rosholt on the 26th. New Lisbon has also already played their next contest (against Ripon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
