Football Recap: A'torian Slaughter Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Early County + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Eufaula, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Early County Bobcats by a score of 32-19 on Thursday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 81st in Alabama, while the Bobcats are ranked 212th in Georgia) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eufaula's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from A'Torian Slaughter, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. What's more, Slaughter posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September. Eufaula also got help from Zy'Querrius Devose, who showed off his sure hands for 102 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Early County still got an impressive performance from Devonis Lee, who rushed for 117 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. Lee's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Eufaula's record is now 6-4. As for Early County, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

As of now, neither Eufaula nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
