Basketball Recap: Graham-Kapowsin Comes Up Short

Graham-Kapowsin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 53-45 to the South Kitsap Wolves. The Eagles lost against the Wolves in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-23 score last time.

Despite the loss, Graham-Kapowsin saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caylee Noyes posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Chang, who scored eight points.

Graham-Kapowsin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for South Kitsap, their record now sits at 5-8.

Graham-Kapowsin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-21 loss against Bethel on the 16th. As for South Kitsap, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-37 defeat against Puyallup on the 16th.
