Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Lincoln finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 17-2 to the South Lake Cavaliers. The Abes have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for South Lake, they pushed their record up to 6-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

While Lincoln had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
