Sanger had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Homestead Mustangs. This was payback for the Apaches, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Isaac Herrera paced Sanger's offense, picking up ten kills. Herrera got some help from Alex Meza and his 12 assists. Finally, Herrera was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Sanger's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Homestead, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Sanger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ripon Christian on the 10th. As for Homestead, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Archbishop Mitty on the 10th.
