The biggest upset of the week belonged to Westminster, who took down 84th ranked Westminster, 35-20.

Brighton extended the longest winning streak in 5A East Metro this week by beating Thornton, 47-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Ethan Trujillo put up the best numbers through the air as Brighton bested the Trojans. He finished with 10 completions for 220 yards and three touchdowns. Trujillo's favorite target this week was Tristin Wells, who caught four passes for 108 yards.

Oscar Colmenero was the best wideout in the league this week as Lincoln lost to Northglenn. Colmenero racked up nine receptions for 157 yards. Tameko Holguin helped Lincoln's passing attack out by catching six balls for 47 yards.

Ken Heard was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 171 yards as the Norsemen lost to the Norsemen. Teammate Jordan Radebaugh added to the ground attack by rushing for 105 yards.

Northglenn's Radebaugh and Eddie Franco have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 5A East Metro in both passing and receiving yards. Radebaugh has thrown for 1275 yards this season, while Franco, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 25 catches for 550 yards. Thornton's Keynan Huguley leads the league in rushing yards with 967.

Huguley of the Mike Marquez's team is only 33 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pat Sandoval's team takes on Prairie View. The Bulldogs are in second place, while the Thunderhawks are in fourth place.

The Norsemen led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Lincoln. Radebaugh threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
