Soccer Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Ridgeland Titans. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Falcons couldn't quite close it out.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Ridgeland, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.

When Columbus and Ridgeland next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Columbus will try to stop Warren Central's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Ridgeland will try to stop Greenville's four-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
