Soccer Game Preview: Miami vs. Goleman

For the first time this season, Miami will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Goleman Gators at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami will be strutting in after a win while Goleman will be coming in after a loss.

Miami is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over South Miami on Monday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since December 7, 2017, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Goleman managed to keep up with Mater Academy Charter until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Gators came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. Goleman have struggled against Mater Academy Charter recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Goleman fell to 2-1-4. As for Miami, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Miami took their victory against Goleman in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 5-1 score. Will the Stingarees repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
