River Ridge hadn't done well against South Forsyth recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Knights came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the War Eagles, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

River Ridge has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for South Forsyth, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, River Ridge and South Forsyth will both be playing Norcross the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the War Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
