Volleyball Recap: Stockton Blackhawks vs. Harvest Christian Academy Lions
Stockton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Harvest Christian Academy Lions on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Blackhawks sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.
Madalyn Mammoser paced Stockton's offense, picking up nine kills. Mammoser were helped by
Kaydra Wright and
Kacy Wright, who contributed ten assists each. Finally,
Taylor Haas kept Stockton's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 37-2. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they moved to 27-8-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
Stockton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hartsburg-Emden at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Hartsburg-Emden will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Stockton surely won't give up without a fight. Harvest Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
