Volleyball Game Preview: Abramson Commodores vs. Cohen Green Hornets

Abramson is a perfect 4-0 against Cohen since August of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. Cohen took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Abramson, who comes in off a win.

Last Wednesday, Abramson beat Collegiate 3-1.

Meanwhile, Cohen came up short against Morris Jeff on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Green Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Abramson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Cohen, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.

Everything went Abramson's way against Cohen when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Abramson made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
