Football Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgeland made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Darlington, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 44-42 on Friday. The match was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Ridgeland still got an impressive performance from Kaiden Williams, who threw for 246 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.

Darlington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayce Donaldson, who rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. The dominant performance also gave Donaldson a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Bo Powers was in the mix too, providing Darlington with two touchdowns.

Ridgeland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Darlington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
