Football Recap: East Union Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

The East Union Lancers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 19-13 to the Lathrop Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by exactly six points.

Leading Lathrop to victory were JaLeiyah Ray and Luz De Luna. Ray picked up 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while De Luna threw for 260 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt. Ray also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending one pass.

East Union's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Lathrop, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Union is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Ripon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lathrop, they will square off against Manteca at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
