Baseball Recap: Indian Springs Beats Non Varsity Opponent for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Indian Springs came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Non Varsity Opponent. The result was nothing new for the Thunderbirds, who have now won ten contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aiden Molina made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Molina was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Cole Concoby was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Adam Groeblinghoff was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one double.

Indian Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .515 or higher in five consecutive games.

Indian Springs pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Indian Springs will head out on the road to square off against Lake Mead Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
