Baseball Recap: Timpanogos Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Timpanogos won against Uintah on Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Timberwolves didn't even let the Utes on the board, marking the Timberwolves' second-straight 6-0 shutout. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Timpanogos got a great performance from Corbin Hardy as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Collin Morgan was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and two runs.

Timpanogos is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Uintah, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timpanogos will host Mountain Crest at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Uintah, they will face off against Bountiful at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
