Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland lost against Ida B. Wells on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cleveland Warriors might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 79-63 to the Ida B. Wells Guardians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Ida B. Wells, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.

Cleveland is taking a road trip to take on Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cleveland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Franklin likes a good challenge. As for Ida B. Wells, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against McDaniel at 7:15 p.m. Ida B. Wells is facing McDaniel at the right time seeing as McDaniel is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
