Baseball Recap: Norwalk Starts Season with Loss at Home

Norwalk unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the St. Paul Swordsmen by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Norwalk saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hector Alvarado, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwalk will welcome Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Paul, they will square off against El Rancho at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
