Basketball Recap: North Butler Takes a Loss

North Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Osage Green Devils, falling 73-47. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Green Devils are ranked 77th).

North Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Osage, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, North Butler will welcome Nashua-Plainfield at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Osage has already played their next game (against Northwood-Kensett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
