Basketball Recap: Parkway South Comes Up Short

Parkway South lost against Parkway West back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Parkway South Patriots took a 53-35 bruising from the Parkway West Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Longhorns are ranked 28th).

Parkway South's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Parkway West, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Parkway South will head out on the road to face off against Pattonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkway South is facing Pattonville at the right time seeing as Pattonville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Parkway West, they will face off against Lindbergh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
