Pelham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristen Rutledge, who rushed for 172 yards and one touchdown. Marcus Arnold was in the mix too, providing the Panthers with two scores.

This is the second loss in a row for Pelham and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Hueytown, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Pelham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hueytown, they will take on Russell County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Gophers' defense better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 36.5 points per game this season.
