Volleyball Game Preview: Gateway Olympians vs. Thornton Trojans + Official Tickets

The Gateway Olympians will square off against the Thornton Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Gateway lost 3-0 to DSST: Green Valley Ranch on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Olympians in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Thornton made easy work of Aurora Central on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory. Thornton hasn't had any issues with Aurora Central recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-14.

Thornton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Gateway might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Thornton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Olympians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
