Baseball Recap: Epiphany Comes Up Short

Epiphany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 19-9 to the Coastal Christian Centurions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Will Gent was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those runs were his first of the season.

Epiphany's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Coastal Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Centurions beat Epiphany by a score of 11-1 on Thursday.
