Baseball Recap: Denair Find Success

Denair had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Waterford on Tuesday. The Coyotes' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. Eight seems to be a good number for the Coyotes as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Denair got a big performance out of Brayden Hart, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave Hart a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Hart, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Denair's win bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Waterford, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Denair by a score of 3-0 on Thursday.
