Baseball Game Preview: Irvine Vaqueros vs. Estancia Eagles

The Irvine Vaqueros will challenge the Estancia Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Irvine will be strutting in after a win while Estancia will be coming in after a defeat.

Irvine's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Oxford Academy.

Irvine got a big performance out of Jack Dressendorfer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Nico Macalino, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Estancia kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Orange by a score of 5-4.
