Colony has gone 9-1 against Lathrop recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Malemutes at 7:30 p.m. Colony is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.

Colony is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bartlett, who was ranked 14th at the time (Colony was ranked fourth). The Knights' defense stepped up to hand the Golden Bears an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. It was an even better day for Axel Simeck as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lathrop). Everything went their way against North Pole on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Lathrop's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Colony, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Colony skirted past Lathrop 2-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
