Basketball Game Preview: Waterloo Tigers vs. Wayne Eagles

Waterloo hasn't had much luck against Wayne recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Waterloo Tigers will welcome the Wayne Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, Waterloo came up short against Mynderse Academy and fell 65-58.

Wayne's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Newark on Friday. Wayne breezed past Palmyra-Macedon to the tune of 68-38. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Wayne, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Waterloo was able to grind out a solid victory over Wayne in their previous meeting back in January, winning 60-53. Will Waterloo repeat their success, or does Wayne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
