Baseball Recap: Tokay Takes a Loss

Tokay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ugly Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Tokay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Sanchez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Tokay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Clayton Valley Charter, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tokay will welcome McNair at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Las Lomas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clayton Valley Charter's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Las Lomas' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
