Baseball Recap: Bandys Takes a Loss

If Bandys was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Lincolnton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Maiden Blue Devils by a score of 4-2 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trojans have suffered since April 2, 2024.

Bandys got a good showing from Chase Welch, who tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Welch has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
