Basketball Recap: Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors vs. Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers
Mt. Carmel Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 54-49 W over the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers.
Mt. Carmel Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Haelyn Morris out in front who earned 21 points plus five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Darbi Hunsberger, who had 14 points in addition to three steals.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Carmel Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Front Royal HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on November 21st. Appalachian Christian School also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Ridgeview Christian at 5:00 p.m. on November 19th.
