St. John Paul II was the 10-1 winner over New Hope when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. John Paul II Falcons lost 4-1 to the New Hope Indians on Friday.

St. John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for New Hope, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.

St. John Paul II will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for New Hope, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against West Point on the 8th.
