Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Christian Life Preparatory, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool blew past Christian Life Preparatory 10-3 on Thursday. Considering the Warriors have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Paul Stedifor, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Keagan Nevarez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over HCYA on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Storm as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, their record is now 9-7-1.
