Palatka came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Clay Blue Devils by a score of 7-2. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Blue Devils back in March, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Zophia Clark was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Hannah Faulkner was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Palatka pushed their record up to 15-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Clay, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Palatka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clay, they will square off against Middleburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
