Volleyball Recap: Citrus Valley Comes Up Short

Citrus Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

Nathan Moreno was the offensive standout of the match as he had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs he has posted over his last seven contests.

Citrus Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Citrus Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Los Osos on the 6th. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Alta Loma on the 6th.
