Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perry). They blew past the Lexington Bulldogs 21-6 on Saturday. The Maroons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Perry and bumps their season record up to 18-13. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Lexington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-20.

Perry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-3 defeat against Chandler on the 3rd. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
