With a playoff win on the line, Mt. Spokane rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Snohomish Panthers as they made off with a 10-4 win. Considering the Wildcats have won 24 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Mt. Spokane, bringing their record up to 29-1. As for Snohomish, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mt. Spokane beat the Panthers by a score of 10-4 later that day.
