Basketball Recap: Scripps Ranch Comes Up Short

Scripps Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Cathedral Catholic Dons and fell 89-52. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-22.

It was another big night for PJ Jourdain, who went 9-for-11 on his way to 26 points and four steals for Cathedral Catholic. Jourdain is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick O'Brien, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards.

Scripps Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Cathedral Catholic, they pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
